Rob is the best Casino salsa instructor in Portland. I've taken lessons with most of the salsa teachers in Portland, and while they all have their various strengths, Rob is the complete package. His expertise is in teaching, as well as in being a wonderful dancer. His teaching method is based on having the student learn consistent fundamentals of the dance style that are applicable from the most basic moves to the most advanced, and are consistent whether dancing with a partner or in a Rueda. His thorough understanding of the dance allows him to quickly diagnose any problems students are having with basic aspects of their dancing or with specific moves or techniques and then work with the student to correct/improve those elements of their dancing. Plus his classes are always a lot of fun!
